We have an ipad and iphone which currently share an Apple ID and we want them to have seperate ID's with the ipad retaining the current ID. Is the process in IOS 15.1 the same as that described in other answers? TIA
If I understand correctly you want a different Apple ID for the iPhone.
Remove the iPhone from your account.
Sign to your Apple ID account page: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT203993
Sidebar-> click Devices.
Click a device (the iPhone) -> click Remove from account.
Then log in to the iPhone with that other Apple ID.
