Monterey - Google fonts problem

I'm having an issue with Google fonts.

I downloaded 4 fonts, verified them, then installed them. All went fine. However, after restart, the Fonts are showing as having "serious errors".

I have deleted them, then re-run the above download/install process again, with the same results.

I'm sort of expecting this to be a Monterey bug to do with permissions ... but would like to know if anyone has an idea of what the problem may be and how to fix it?

Any ideas?

Replying to my own question ...

MacOS 12.1 update has fixed the issue. I didn't uninstall/reinstall ... I just left them in there. After the update, they are all being displayed correctly in Mac's - Font Book.
