Bootcamp AMD Radeon 5600 drivers outdated 20.45 version -> need 21.20 for games like battlefield 2042

Hi guys

Recently I experienced something that never happened before, probably because Apple M1 is now the standard and Bootcamp seems no longer to be a priority for anyone.

The AMD drivers provided by AMD for Macbook pro 16" are stuck at 20.45, June 2020, no updates since.

Now, I have an EA Play Pro subscription with access to BF 2042 in preview...and I cannot use the game, why? Drivers are too old.

My question is fairly simple: "Is there an agreement with AMD that AMD will no longer update the drivers for Windows Bootcamp?", what is the solution then?

BTW, installing non bootcamp drivers (regular ones from AMD), doesn't work.

Using 3rd party drivers like from bootcampdrivers.com, doesn't work either with the 5600M and Macbook pro 16 past 2019...

So, I'm stuck with a 4300 $ super laptop...not able to play recent games...although advertised heavily as a powerful pro and even gaming station.

Does that mean I need to buy a regular laptop running Windows and leave Apple?

Thanks a bunch

Regards

Nico

I found this workaround in the system folders.
