apple pencil does not work well in sidecar mode

I use an iPad in sidecar mode and recently, after updating to a Mac OS Monterey, the stylus began to put a bold point and only then draw a thin line. I draw in Photoshop and other graphic softs on a iMac and all have the same problem. I do not think that this is an apple pencil problem, since such a problem did not appear in graphic softs on the iPad, I checked it in Procreate and Adobe Fresco.

What should i do about this problem?

Is your iPad updated to the latest iPadOS 15.1? Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Does this only happen with the apps used for graphic software? Or does it happen with all apps you use with the Apple Pencil while in Sidecar mode?

What about using the Apple Pencil with only the iPad? Do you have any issues?

Hello, thanks for your quick feedback. Yes my ipad has been updated to the latest version. I can’t check the Apple Pencil works like that with all applications, because pressure sensitivity is only shown in graphic programs.

As far as I can see, it works fine with other applications such as safari or finder, however, in applications like Corel Paint or Photoshop, Tayasui Sketches Pro, in general, in all where pen pressure is present, such a problem appears.

There are no problems in using only with an iPad. I checked it in the Procreate program, there is no problem there.

From what you are describing, and it’s only with these programs, would we recommend reaching out to the developers to report what’s happening when trying to use the Apple Pencil.
