Everytime I stop using my Apple TV it turns off

Every time I switch back to cable TV, my Apple TV box turns off and I have to unplug it to get it to turn back on.

Apple tv We have Spectrum as our internet provider, a Visio tv and Apple TV to connect the two. Most of the time they all get along and play nicely but lately the Apple tv has been dropping the connection as though the tv is going into sleep mode. If we don't hit the remote the the tv shuts off in the 3 minute interval. This will go on for an hour or more, and on all three tv's we have using an Apple tv box. Trying multiple button pushes will sometimes bring up on screen controls at the top of the screen with labels 'watch' and 'live'. If I am quick enough and move to the 'Live" button, the sleep mode shutoff will not happen for a wile, maybe until the tv is turned off. ANY ideas??

Apple TV Won't start properly Apple tv won't start unless I unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in. Then it works fine.

Amazon Prime not working on Apple TV I have an Apple TV model A2169 (64GB) and I have watched Amazon Prime for ever through the Amazon prime app. Now for the last 30 days I keep getting an error : Something went wrong, Please try again later. For more help, go to amazon.com/videohelp. The apps starts to play the video, then it pops up the error message. BUT the program is still playing in the background with sound but i can not get a picture. I have tried every Apple support suggestion. close the app and restart, close the app and power cycle the apple tv, delete the app and reinstall, set the tv back to factory settings. None of these are fixing the problem. What do I do?

What is your model Apple TV? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

Does the status light go off when this happens?

Are you using the bundled Apple TV Remote? Are you able to wake the Apple TV with the Menu/Back button on your Apple TV Remote?

Apple TV 4K (1st generation). Light goes off. Can't wake the Apple TV up with the Menu/Back button on my remote. I have to unplug it and plug it back in every time.
