Unable to use my Apple TV app on my TV.

Unable to use my Apple TV app on my television. I pay the monthly fee. I can watch movies and shows on my phone. But unable to do so on my television. Why? It’s prompting if I would like a free trial.

Please be aware that users will need to sign in to the Apple TV app, through the in-app Settings (sprockets wheel icon), with the Apple ID account that has the subscription.
