Is Xbox controller 1914 supported after update of the controller?

Despite several promising messages from both Microsoft and Apple, my current Xbox Wireless Controller Model: 1914 still doesn't work with tvOS, even after the tvOS and iOS updates. I bought it for iPhone gaming and tvOS Arcade in February but like every other Xbox controller owner been frustrated by lack of a working driver.

Today I read there is an update from Microsoft, for the Xbox Wireless Controller model 1914.

You’ll be able to play wirelessly on Windows 10 & 11 PCs, iOS 15+, and Android devices with Bluetooth LE for Xbox remote play from your console or cloud gaming with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on the go. 

Can anyone confirm this works? I cannot test it myself since I don't have an Xbox and the Windows installation I have is broken (again, despite A-brand SSD).
