Lost my Apple Watch but found it after reporting it lost

Since I activated Lost Apple Watch in Find My then found it three days later it will not unlock using the same passcode. I know my passcode because it’s the same for my iPhone. How do I unlock it without erasing data? Does Find My reset the passcode?
