iPhone X screen responds intermittently

Hi, I have an iPhone X that has worked perfectly for the 2-3 years I’ve had it. In the last 2-3 weeks, however, the screen won’t respond to touch until I force-restart it. This only happens when I’m not actively using it, or at least I’ve never been using it when it stopped responding. After that, it works for a little while, only to stop responding after a few hours, when I have to force-restart it again. It is slowly getting more frequent, which makes me worried that soon I will lose the ability to use the phone whatsoever. Advice? Thanks
