Sidecar problems with 14" MacBook Pro

Sidecar does not work properly with my new 14" m1X MacBook Pro (MacOs Monterey 12.0.1) and 5th-generation 12.9" iPad Pro (IOS 15.1). It keeps disconnecting and does not work properly with Lightroom Classic (Vers 11). This contrasts with using Sidecar with my m1 MacBook Air, where it works with no problems.

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. We understand Sidecar keeps disconnecting from your MacBook Air, and we'd like to assist. Does your MacBook Air meet the additional requirements in the bottom of this article:


Use an iPad as a second display for a Mac


Are there any possible sources of wireless interference? This article explains what to check for:


Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference


Do you have macOS Monterey 12.0.1 installed on your MacBook Air as well? Also, you may consider updating to iOS 15.1.1 to see if the issue persists.
