I cannot update my software to ios 13 to my iphone 6 plus i have space and i cannot upload certain apps that i need
iOS 13 is no longer an active iOS. The current updated iOS version is iOS 15.1
Not sure what you mean by, "gets hung and dies nothing further". What do you see on your screen when you attempt to update your iPhone?
One thing that you should know and confirm and that is whether you have an iPhone 6s or do you have an iPhone 6 (Without the S) This is important because an iPhone 6 can only be updated up to iOS 12.5.x and NOTHING HIGHER. You need an iPhone 6s to update higher than that to iOS 14.x. Double check which iPhone you have.

You are correct with your assumptions that all iPhone 6 references, in my response, apply to the iPhone 6 Plus as well. There is no other way to install higher iOS versions on your iPhone. iOS 12.5.x is the highest that it will go to. This is because of the hardware limitations in iPhones 6 and older models.

It says i phone 6 plus
So plus is nothing other than an i phone 6 then and if so(an im guessing yes) then there is no other way to be able to load certain apps. Thereby making this phone useless
