Account disabled in App Store

Since last night, I'm getting this message saying 'Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes'. I have changed the password but the issue remains. Can someone help?

iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 15

Apple says if you see this message (or one saying, "You cannot login because your account has been locked" ), "there might be a problem with the payment method that you have on file." Apple Support is the only one who can fix this for you.
