Hello Mojones100,

Apple Support Communities is a great place for help with the charges you’re seeing. If you’re seeing ‘apple.com/bill’ on your billing statement, take a look at the following article. It provides great information on what to do if you don’t recognize a charge.

If the charge does appear in your purchase history you can request a refund. Those steps can be found in the article below.

Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple

Have a great day!

Hi,

A duplicate Apple Music subscription charge would not total up to the amount of $65 that you have referenced.

Also, if you did not make any purchases on your Apple ID, and you do not share your payment method with Family Sharing, then most likely the unrecognized charge is going to be associated to a subscription renewal. Subscription renewals start out in the following ways:

  1. User downloads the affected app; the app offers a subscription for its in-app content and other features associated to the service. Majority of the time the app comes with a trial period for the subscription.
  2. User agrees to start the trial period of the Subscription by confirming with Face ID/Touch ID or Apple ID password. this screen also includes the renewal date for the Subscription prior to confirming the trial. Subscriptions & Trial Periods have to be confirmed via the referenced authentication above. Every single time.
  3. User approves trial period for Subscription, Subscription appears within Settings > Name > Subscriptions along with its renewal date and an option to Cancel Subscription. User also receives a confirmation email from Apple with the Subject “Subscription Confirmation.”
  4. User completely ignores all of this majority of the time and let’s the trial period run out without cancelling that previously subscribed subscription.
  5. User then receives unrecognized charge from apple.com/bill associated to the subscription they never properly cancelled or managed in time like they were supposed to, and then gets upset because they received an unrecognized charge that could have been avoided the whole time.
  6. User receives email invoice receipt within 24-48hrs of being charged for the renewal, which includes information about the purchase, the subscription, and another link to cancel the subscription.

Does this process sound familiar? If so, I would recommend managing your subscriptions within Settings.

You can also request a refund on reportaproblem.apple.com

To identify all charges associated to your Apple ID, view your purchase history within Settings > Name > Media & Purchases > View Account > Purchase History.
