Mail App on Windows 11

Hi, I'm trying to add my iCloud account to Windows' Default Mail App. But it keeps telling me that my account setting are out-of-date. My two step aut. is enabled and I'm registering my iCloud with an app specific password.

Hi Lissy_12, I think you might have misunderstood. I think the OP (and I) are having difficulty accessing our icloud accounts *using the Windows 11 Mail app*, not the iCloud mail app, despite using an app-specific password to do so.

I can only add that I had no problems using the Windows 10 mail app to access icloud email when using an app-specific password.
