I have a family subscription and my other family members have been having issues with their apple music not working.

Perhaps this article will help:

If songs are missing from your music library after you turn on Sync Library - Apple Support


They  might be able to fix their issue by turning Sync Library off for all of their devices, then turning it back on again.  Learn how.
