iCloud link in menu bar - 3rd party icloud status by alchemist guild

I don't know if 3rd party links are allowed, but I was looking to add iCloud to the menu bar like I have with DropBox, Amazon Photos, OneCloud (MS), Box and Google Drive and found that there is a 3rd party plugin called iCloud Status by a developer alchemist guild.

Why does MacBook Storage Recommendations say Store in iCloud? Hello, I have all iCloud services turned on on my MacBook (iCloud Photo Library, Messages in iCloud, and Sync Desktop & Documents on iCloud Drive). When I go to Settings > General > Storage on my MacBook, it says "Store in iCloud" under the Recommendations area. Why is this the case when everything is already turned on? Sign out of iCloud in Monterey 12.6.2 I'd like to sign out of iCloud and back in again to see if this will make the shared photos in Photos actually, er, share. There does not seem to be an option to sign out in /System Preferences, and despite the internet pretending I can click on my name to sign out, on my Monterey 12.6.2 running on a retina iMac, when I click on my name in System Preferences, the geniuses at Apple offer me an emoji, or nothing. Does anybody know how to sign the World's Most Advanced Operating System out of the iCloud webspace to see if this methodology will make it actually work? Ta

What are imagent and sociallayerd in macOS iCloud settings? While setting up my new Mac, I noticed "imagent" and "sociallayerd" listed under "Apps that store documents and data in iCloud..." (under System Preferences > Apple ID > iCloud Drive options). What are these? More Info: I did not use migration assistant I brought down documents and photos using iCloud I have not installed any apps yet Running macOS 12.0
