The normal method is to have a modem connected to the internet. That modem may be provided by Spectrum or it may be purchased by you. It typically has two output abilities. (1) Ethernet connections for cables. (2) Wi-Fi network which usually requires password access. Spectrum should have given you some instructions. If not, go to their web site and information should be there to assist you. Use them. After all, you are a paying customer.

Thanks for your help. I was on the phone with Spectrum for awhile, he said I had to call the router company. After an hour on the phone with that company, they said I had to call Apple. So I slept on it, and realized I was connected. I had been looking at lights on the modern and router, but actually, when I looked at the computer, I was already connected.
