How to disable an iPhone without iTunes

i got my son an iPhone for his birthday in May and he’s changed to passcode to his phone and gone and forgotten it. He’s tried to many time that the phone is now disabled and needs to be connected to iTunes but because it has never been connected to iTunes I can’t get the phone to connect and disable. Are there any other ways to be able to do this?

There is a possibility of data loss, since the only way to get back into the iPhone is to restore it to factory settings using a Mac or PC and

You may also try to use iCloud.com/find and sign in with the Apple ID that is on that iPad and remotely erase it.
