New Ipad Air won't charge.

If you already tried (to no avail) all the steps provided in this support article:--> If your iPad won't charge - Apple Support, since your iPad is still covered by warranty, I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.

• Online:--> Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple;
• Contacting a local Apple Store or AASP among the list provided above;
• Using the "Apple Store" app, available and downloadable from AppStore.

I would

test the charger with another device

test with another cable

verify the connector in the ipad is not full of dirt and lint evt. use a match or

toothpick to clear it out

this would show me if the charger, cable or connector in the ipad was the defect part
