You can disabled certain iCloud features that may be causing this problem, but remember to sync your device with your computer in order to make sure those items are backed up properly.

The best answer could be provided if we knew more context for doing this. The simplest way, but not necessarily the one you may need:

Sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac --> https://support.apple.com/HT208242

If another Apple ID is signed in you may need to enter the password for that ID to sign out of that ID first.

Click on this link to learn how to 'Sign in with your Apple ID' --> https://support.apple.com/HT204053

What to do before selling or giving away your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch "Use these steps to remove your personal information from a device, even if you don't have it anymore." Click here --> https://support.apple.com/HT201351

'Activation Lock for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch' is a security feature that's designed to prevent anyone else from using an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, if it's ever lost or stolen. To learn more click here --> http://support.apple.com/HT201365

For an individual to remove an activation lock absolutely requires the information for the account that applied the lock. Click on this link to learn 'How to remove Activation Lock' --> https://support.apple.com/HT201441

If you do not know the required information and you are not the original owner, get the owner of the account to remove the lock or return the device for a refund or recycle the device. The device is otherwise useless to you. If the owner is unknown and has not provided contact information as a message showing in the login screen, there is no way to contact the owner unless the person who gave you the device knows them.

Here are additional resources if you are the original owner, or know the owner to be able to provide assistance in doing any of the following things:

Help with a lost Apple ID or password:

• "If you forgot your Apple ID" [this is likely an email address you are using or used in the past] click here --> https://support.apple.com/HT201354

• "If you forgot your Apple ID password" click here --> https://support.apple.com/HT201487

Reset device:

Apple can completely reset a device if a person can provide sufficient evidence of valid ownership. This is done online at: Activation Lock support request - https://al-support.apple.com/#/additional-support Apple says, "Proof of ownership documentation is required," but does provide details as to what is acceptable proof. Prior to this new online service Apple typically required the original receipt issued by Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller and documented provenance (so typically it would be the original owner who does this, or a descendant with legal proof of ownership).

Thank you for the quick response. I wasn't sure what to ask! I have an ipad that continues to have low memory. It is connected to my Iphone which has more memory and includes lots and lots of pictures that automatically show up on the ipad. If I delete the pictures on the ipad, it removes them from my phone. So I want to remove the Ipad as a device connected to my Iphone and connect it to a different Iphone that does not have all the pictures. Do I just remove the device from my Iphone? If so, how do I connect it to the alternate Iphone with no pictures to eat up memory?

How do I move an Ipad device from one Icloud account to another?
