iPhone songs not appearing on iTunes.

Hi!

When I plug my iPhone to my MacBook Pro, I can't see my phone's songs on iTunes.

What is going on?

macOs 10.15.7

iOs 15.1.1

Can't see songs on iPhone with iTunes I have 63 songs on my iPhone 12 mini (these songs were on my old iPhone XR and were transferred to the iPhone 12 when I restored the iPhone 12 from the iPhone XR backup). I can play the songs with the Music app on the phone, but when I connect the phone to my PC running iTunes, "No items" show up when I look at the music on "my device." i cqn see songs on my iphone through PC/Itunes, but I don't see them on my iphone? Songs in my itunes library on my PC aren't showing up on my iphone after synching. But when I connect my iphone to my PC and look at my iphone I can see the songs through itunes. I just can't see them on my iphone!!
