Safari address bar text greyed out in dark mode

i just switched from light mode to dark mode and now noticed the text in the address bar is severely greyed out and almost unreadable. Anyone know why? I just got a replacement iPhone 13 Pro Max from the Apple Store, and had dark mode turned on in my old one without this issue. The photos below are the view in light mode then in dark mode.

Hello HighFlyinAFGuy,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We're happy to help with this trouble you're having with Safari on the iPhone 13. First, we'd like to make sure that the color on your display has not been inadvertently inverted. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size, and make sure that neither Smart Invert and Classic Invert are not enabled. You can get more info on this feature here:

Use display and text size preferences on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Let us know the outcome, and we can go from there if needed.

Best regards!
