Can you tell us the whole story behind your statement in your post? Give us all the details. Is this a new iPhone? Do you still have the old iPhone? Which number is associated with your iPhone?

Can you still make and receive phone calls on your old iPone? If YES, then did you transfer the active SIM card from your old iPhone to your new iPhone? Try removing the SIM card from your old iPhone and install it in your new iPhone. See whether that resolves the issue.
