iPhone11 Pro, OS 15.1 Mic Mode -> "Voice Isolation and Wide Spectrum are currently unavailable"

I have an iPhone11 Pro and just upgraded to OS 15.1 mainly because I wanted to take advantage of the new voice isolation feature.

When I long press mic mode on the control panel, I get the menu with three choices but I cannot choose Voice Isolation or Wide Spectrum and there is a message on top of the pages saying "Voice Isolation and Wide Spectrum are currently unavailable"

I have tried killing all apps, rebooting but same thing.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Have you figured out what the issue is?

There's currently an update available for your iPhone 11 Pro, which is iOS 15.1.1. We suggest to update the software on your iPhone to the latest version, as it can help provide software improvements that may help: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

From there, let's see if you continue to experience the same behavior.

Its been a few days since I reported the issue with unavailability of voice isolation and wide spectrum. I have been using my phone as usual however, yesterday, when I was on a facetime call, I tried pulling down the menu and this time voice isolation was available and has been since. However the message has now changed to: "Wide Spectrum is currently unavailable".

I am unable to think of anything I may have done to cause this!

I'll continue to report updates. Mean time if anyone has any idea to get Wide Spectrum working would be appreciated.

Thanks for getting back to us. That's correct, iOS 15.1.1 is only available for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models. With the error message you're seeing with Wide Spectrum, we suggest contacting Apple Support to review this further. You can contact them through this link here: Get Support

Hey Bryan, thank you for your suggestion to get in touch with support. Based on my past experiences I find trying to resolve issues with support is a great drain on my time. It would be less painful to live with the deficiencies of os15.1 for the time being.

Hello Bryan,

My understanding is that iOS 15.1.1 is exclusively for iPhone 12 and iPhone 13. I have an iPhone 11 Pro thread here.
