I’d like to buy a Leather Link Band and a Sport Band for my son’s Series 2 (42mm) Apple Watch. Will either of those band styles fit a Series 2? I’m not sure whether to buy the 41mm or the 45mm (case size) band, as I see nothing for a 42mm. These are for his birthday, which falls immediately after Christmas. If I get them and they don’t fit, I’ll feel terrible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you Rudegar. I did read the compatibility statement, but I’m still unsure because it (the statement), refers only to Apple Watch 3 or newer. I don’t see where it says they’re compatible across all models and generations. I did, however, see where it mentioned the 45mm strap works with the 42mm and 44mm cases (under the Athletic Band Compatibility note), but I’m terrified as it refers to Series 3 or newer. Any further clarification/assurance would be appreciated. Again, I am incredibly grateful for your response.
