In the drop down file menu I cannot see the option save as in order to save the file with another extension ie web or html. Thanks

If it's not there for you boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.

Thanks for replying. Using windows, you can save a file with web extension so to create a web page. Am trying to replicate this with my Mac but it won't allow me change the file, in this case, .pages into a web or html. I saw your other answer and I can try that, unless there is another way to create documents to subsequently create a web page.
Ok, you appear to have multiple posts on the same subject. Not a problem, but it makes it a bit harder for us to be able to help you.
In your other post, an alternative was proposed to use an online service to do the same thing.

Which exact app are you using that you cannot find the "Save As" option? It appears, from what you provided, it could be Safari ... is that correct?
