You can't. Some email clients have an option to "request an email receipt" but whether or not you'll get one is up to the recipient. Sending email receipts is not wise so not many of your requests will be honored. Sending a receipt confirms your email address to spammers/scammers, and phishers.

I've had good luck with: "Let me know when you receive this..."
