IOS 15 notifications

How can I tell there are notifications in the IOS 15 notifications center by looking at the home screen?

Unfortunately, this does not answer my question, as I was asking if there was a way to see if there were notifications in the notifications center by looking at the home screen, as per my question. Perhaps, based on the article you referred to, IOS 15 is unable to display an indicator on the home screen when there are notifications in the Notifications Center. If that is the case, I would be appalled that such a simple and important function would be absent. I realize that notifications appear on the lock screen, or by manually checking the notifications center, but being forced to manually check when the home screen is being displayed seems rather egregious.
