i have been trying to back up my iphone XR to icloud for 4 days now, unable to remove it from home otherwise the backup will fail and it keeps increasing the days left of the back up. currently it says 6 days remaining. how do i speed up tis process

You either have a HUGE number of files or else a slow connection. I'm inclined to think the latter. In either case, backing up to a computer would be faster unless you can improve your connection speed.
