It sounds like you updated your operating system (OS) to a 64 bit only OS and the Aperature app is a 32 bit app. I suggest first checking to see if a 64 bit version is available for download, which is compliant with your operating system (whatever it is). If not, there are alternative apps which can do the same thing. If you insist on going back to your old OS, be prepared to do the following. Back up all of your files to an external disk. Next, erase and reformat your HD. Download and reinstall the older OS. Then reinstall all of your files. Please keep in mind that in the future, some new apps that you will want to install will require a 64 bit OS and that some will not work with your older 32 bit OS. It is a thing of the past.
