Apple wallet money should have gone to my Apple Card

Hello so I had received money over text form someone and it should have went to my Apple Card. I checked to see if there was one there and there was not a Apple Card there. So I added my debit card and the money is still no where to be found. I tried to look up how to fix it and all the ways to fix it aren’t working. I went in to setting and tried to turn it on but the button to turn on the card wasn’t there. Please help me
