Logic Pro 10.7.1 Channel Meters changed

Hello,

my channel meters have changed from exponential reading to linear and I cannot find a way to change it back. This occurred when I was changing sampling rate of a project from 44.1 to 48. Apparently there is an option in Display settings and according to other users’ reports, this menu is missing in preferences. Additionally when toggling pre fader metering on and off it only changes in individual channel strips in main window and not in the mixer.
