Video colors are fine in the Mac Photos app. However when I export the video as a .mov to finder using mac photos. The color flashes or is black and white or is a one color tint.
The videos were filmed originally on a iPhone 12 pro.
Sounds like I have same problem stated in this post.
Your problem is you are still shooting your videos with HDR (provision) enabled. Your 2013 mac is not able to work with these, and I believe Catalina is not either.
If you switch off HDR on your phone, then you should be able to work with them.

Corrrect - you'll have to edit past videos in imovie on your phone, and export them without the HDR.
Try using the iMovie media browser and export from there. (Note this is a WAG)

macOS Catalina Version 10.15.7
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013)
Photos App: Version 5.0 (161.0.120)
I assume this will only fix future videos taken. Right?
If so, is there any way I can fully export my existing videos without losing any data?
