how do I paid two different air pods together, right now they are in the same case and the case is blinking a orange color. I have tried holding in the button on the back but it does nothing, any suggestions on what to do?

Follow the directions in the link, including this:
If the status light still flashes amber, connect the case to power, close the lid, and wait 20 minutes. Then open the lid and press and hold the setup button again for a few seconds until the status light flashes white.
