Is it sufficient to use disk utility to erase the disk and keep my data safe, before selling my MacBook Pro?

I’m selling my MacBook Pro and don’t want my data to be recovered. I followed the method Apple provides on their website and erased the entire disk. After that, I reinstalled the OS. I wonder if it’s enough to keep my data safe.

Model: MacBook Pro 2017 13” with Touch Bar and 4 Thunderbolt ports.

System: Mac OS Sierra.

Hard drive: SSD with TRIM enabled. HFS+ format.
