No, the new MacBook Pro 14” has an M1X Pro, or M1X Max processor. It also has more ports, including HDMI, and an SD card slot.

The pro has one inch larger, they both have m1 chips. For me the Mac air screen would be fine , it seems the price difference is high for a better screen
