A new Mac Air 13inch, 1TB, 16 Gig Memory M1 chip cost $2149 vs MAcPro 14inch at $3149 with same specs.

No, the new MacBook Pro 14” has an M1X Pro, or M1X Max processor. It also has more ports, including HDMI, and an SD card slot.
