Running Office on MacBook Pro

Microsoft Office prompts me to download an iOS at least 10.15 or newer. The latest update was version 10.12. What's the best way to get a compatable update so I can run Office?

The model year of a MacBook Air is available at Apple menu > About This Mac.

A mid 2009 MacBook Air can be upgraded to El Capitan 10.11.6 but no later version. See: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211683
