My Mac is very sluggish since this morning. Any time I open a new tab there is usually a lag of 5-10 seconds. I ran EtreCheck Pro, which someone had told me to do for a past problem. I can share my report from them if anyone would be willing to analyze it and offer me feedback.
Any suggestions how I can improve responsiveness/speed?

Run the Apple Diagnostics to see if any hardware issues are detected.
Please post the EtreCheck report here using the "Additional Text" icon which looks like a piece of paper since there are too many unknowns here without that information. Make sure to click the "Share" icon within the EtreCheck app and select "Copy Report". If you give EtreCheck "Full Disk Access" then the report will include the summary of the recent logs which may contain additional clues.
