SideCar resolution is extremely high on my iPad/
Hello,
I normally use my macbook pro on clamshell mode attached to a 34 inch ultra wide screen with a resolution of 3440x1440. When I try to connect with sidecar my iPad Pro (3rd gen) it uses a resolution of 2560x1440! Which is not ideal. I see no performance issues with this connection, it's just that the mouse cursor is barely visible on that thing. Text is also unreadable there. It's all in all a terrible experience.
When I try to mirror displays or open the mac lid, the iPad uses a much lower resolution that is extremely usable and clear.
Here is an image of my desktop with the problematic resolution on the iPad:
It seems nice on image capture but imagine that the right part of the screen is on an 11inch iPad and has the same pixel rows as the 34 inch display right next to it. So it is practically unusable.
Here is a screenshot of how the displays change when I open the lid and use 3 monitors.
Weirdly enough, both the retina screen on the left (MacBook Screen) and the retina screen on the right (iPad pro Screen) Have higher row counts than my main 34 inch monitor. Their text and elements though are of proper proportions making them look smaller than the big central screen.
So it's not that the software can't handle the proper analogies. It's that there probably is a configuration error that I can't locate.
I am forced to work with all three monitors active when I only need just the sidecar monitor of the iPad. is there a way to fix the issue with the first configuration and make the iPad's scene display the elements properly?
