How can I make my iPhone Private

Hello, I hope my response isn’t too late.. There are 2 ways that I’m familiar with, which will allow you to keep your private apps private..

#1: You can enable the Accessibility Feature - Guided Access, which allows you to restrict the usage to a single app. You can also set timers & a passcode to ensure that prying eyes aren’t snooping on your phone.

Go to Settings —> Accessibility —> Guided Access. You can add Accessibility to your control center, so that all you have to do is hit your side/home button 3 times to activate it.

#2: There’s also something called, “Per App Settings,” which allows you to set rules/shortcuts for specific apps. That might be your best bet if you’re only looking to restrict the kiddos from your Photos and messages App… Good Luck!! 😊

Not sure what you mean. Your iPhone is private inasmuch as it's your device. Do you have a passcode enabled? Or Touch ID/Face ID?

Not if you unlock your device and give it to someone, no. They'll have complete access.

If you unlock your device and give it to someone, they will then have access to everything on your device.
