Proximity sensor stopped working after replacing battery

Take it back to whoever replaced the battery - they probably damaged it. Apple repair shops offer 90 day warranty.

My proximity sensor light not blinking
new brand new phone
There is no proximity sensor light.
What could be the problem with my iPhone 8 ambient and proximity control? No repairer around my location has been able to get the sensors to work, so many were tried on my phone but all in vain while they work on other phones.
please help.
