I already have an existing icloud subscrpition, how do i upgrade to an icloud+ subscription?
tap settings, then your name and account at the very top. Then tap iCloud. Under storage does it show “iCloud+”? If so, you’re subscription was automatically updated.

It's automatic, but you may need to review the terms and conditions under Settings (it's either there or under Apple ID)
