What is the best way to connect a Mac Mini to a TV? Does the brand matter?
I am planning to buy a Mini and use a five year old Samsung TV as a monitor. I am trying to “run the traps” before I get the Mini and be sure I can actually connect it before I discover I have to buy new peripherals. But I would start with HDMI.
hdmi or displayport
HDMI, cable 5’ or less.
Use only HDMI certified cables. They will be denoted by an obvious HDMI stamp on the box. I the TV is 4K, get UHD certified cables.
