Payment not being taken from account after purchase

So I recently purchased the iPhone 1 Pro from the apple site about 8 days ago, but the money from my account has yet to be moved/taken for payment. I've found that apple sometimes charges after shipping, but I recently got an email yesterday from apple saying that it has already been shipped, yet the money is still in my account.


I also received an email of the tax invoice and I've checked that the order has not been declined or somehow canceled. I will wait to see if whether it may be a slower process from their side, but should I also contact my bank?


Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

They do not take the money until they ship the item.
