How to close itunes

Hi! Im trying to update my macbook air, but the update wont start because itunes wont close. The problem is to log in on mye account. I have changed the password successfully multiple times. Anyone who can help a desperate student??

Cannot update, shutdown or restart MacBook because of iTunes store For a couple of months now, itunes store has been prompting me to sign in. However, when I enter the correct password the prompt to sign in just comes in again. Whilst the prompt is active, I cannot force quit itunes. This is preventing me from updating, shutting down or restarting my MacBook Pro as every time I try any of these, I'm promted to close itunes before it can proceed. I have tried changing my Apple ID password and signing out and back in. I'm currently running Mojave.

my Itunes is bugged I can't close down my iTunes, which results in me not being able to update my Mac. I also can't login even after trying to change the password. And I can't change the account im using either. So im stuck at the login tab. [Image Edited by Moderator to Remove Personal Information]
