Simple enough >System Preferences>Sharing

has to be a unique name on your local Network, otherwise the macOS will add a amendment to the name to distinguish between another local computer named "MacBook Pro"

ex: MacBook Pro - 2

You may need to reboot the computer to see the change...(?)
