Replacement of Lost Airpods

Hello, I recently lost my right airpod I went into the Apple Website to order a replacement and put in all my information; when I was done I got the confirmation email saying a service was requested and three days later there had been no update. This is my first time ordering a replacement so is this normal, how does this work ?

This is how it works:

'AirPods and AirPods Case Replacement' --> https://support.apple.com/airpods/repair/service

- Includes replacement cost. Note the distinction between lost and damaged items. Neither the warranty nor AppleCare+ helps with the cost of Airpods that are lost or stolen. The cost for damaged Airpods may be lessened by any 'AppleCare+ For Headphones' coverage you may have.

A set of replacement instructions for Airpods and cases with additional detail are also provided at the bottom of the support article: "How to find your lost AirPods, AirPods Pro, or AirPods Max" --> https://support.apple.com/HT207581

1. If you can't find your AirPod or Charging Case, or if something is damaged, get the serial number. Click on this link to discover how to find the serial number. --> https://support.apple.com/HT209371

2. Contact Apple Support for a replacement. Click here --> https://getsupport.apple.com/?caller=kbase&PGF=PGF32003&category_id=SC0298

Or for specific components:

- Replace a _damaged_ AirPod or Charging Case, click here --> https://getsupport.apple.com/?caller=sfaq&PGF=PGF32003&category_id=SC0285

3. Learn how to set up your replacement.

If you think there's an issue, contact the support team again. To me it seems everything in the past 2 years has taken longer to resolve.
