Can't erase iMac. Command R doesn't work.

How can I erase iMac? Shuttdown and Command + R does not start up from macOS Recovery.

iMac Line (2012 and Later)

Solved it myself (AppleCare couldn't figure it out). I was attempting to start up with a Bluetooth keyboard, which was not connecting to the iMac until it had already gone to the log-in screen. Tried with an old USB keyboard and it worked right away.
