IPad Pro frozen. My A2301, iPad Pro (11”) is mostly unresponsive.

How do I fix this? Currently running 15.1 and won’t update to 15.1.1. (ran out of room in the question box). I’ve shut it down completely at least four times but it hasn’t helped at all.

It’s still under factory warranty but it seems to me that this should be able to be fixed by the owner.

Well, there was no way for me to know the storage capacity of the iPad, you had not shared that. Next, I wouldn't say that it needs to be sent to Apple. If web pages are not loading, do you mean not at all, or slow? Have you checked your internet speed with a speedtest app? Have you cleared your history and website data lately?


What troubleshooting have you tried? I hate to recommend a number of things you have already tried, but you can try powering the device off and back on again, you can also try a force restart on the iPad too. Restart iPad - Apple Support

I just tried the Force Restart, and as I told Apple, it didn't work; I have to press and hold the volume (up) button and the Top button simultaneously to activate the shut down slider. After shut down, I press the Top button until the Apple logo displays, then restart as normal.


The internet doesn't work on the iPad Pro so I can't do a speed test, but it works fine on this MacBook Pro; also I looked at the available storage - 1.86 TB; I'm surprised I've used as much as I have.



I''ve avoided clearing History and Website Data because it's such a PITA to revisit all my frequently visited websites for the first time - again. But that's what I'm going to have to do. Alas, also unsuccessful. Good ideas, though.

So, the internet does not work at all? You did not say that at first. Are you trying to connect via wi-fi or do you have a wi-fi/cellular iPad? If wi-fi, do you see the wi-fi fan for the connection? If you check Settings, what are you seeing there? Does this only happen on your home wi-fi, or have you tried to join other public wi-fi or work? Have you tried restarting your modem/router on your home network?
