Don't try to repair it and certainly don't try to polish away the scratch because you will ruin the display. If the scratch is not preventing normal touch screen operation you have two practical options:
* Live with it.
* Fit a screen protector which will camouflage the scratch
If the scratch is sufficiently deep to prevent the touch functions operating correctly you should contact Apple Support to arrange repair.
